Pursuant to the cooperation agreement between Algeria and Mauritania in the field of higher education, applications are now open for Doctoral Scholarships at the Modern University of Nouakchott for the 2026-2027 academic year, for outstanding students (top of their class) who graduated during the 2024-2025 academic year.
Relevant fields of study: (life sciences, chemistry, geology, mathematics, computer science, physics, law, economics, management sciences, geography, Arabic literature, history).
Application requirements and deadlines:
- Only one student per subject area may be nominated.
- The deadline for receipt of applications is 15 June 2026 at 12:00 noon.
- Note: applications sent by email will not be accepted.
Required documents:
- Baccalaureate transcript.
- Transcripts for the last five years.
- Bachelor’s degree (except for students from higher education institutions).
- Master’s degree (class of 2024–2025).
- School reports for the last five years.
- Certificate of classification (in accordance with the attached template).
- Five-star certificate (in accordance with the attached template).
- Doctoral thesis proposal.
- Copy of passport (first page).
