The vice-dean in charge of teaching

 The Vice Dean is tasked with the following responsibilities:

  • Managing and overseeing the enrollment of undergraduate students.
  • Monitoring teaching activities and proposing measures to the Dean to improve their quality.
  • Maintaining a nominal and statistical database of students.
  • Collecting, processing, and disseminating educational information for the benefit of students.

Tasks:

  • Manage Student Enrollment: Oversee all student registration processes, including academic leave and the management of student withdrawals.
  • Review Reintegration Applications: Examine the files of students seeking re-enrollment or reintegration into their academic programs.
  • Prepare Student Statistics: Compile statistics related to student data and prepare lists for continuous assessment and exam records (PV).
  • Monitor Exam Grades Entry: Ensure the accurate input of exam grades and oversee announcements regarding the administrative records of students.

Tasks:

  • Total Number of Students: Keeping track of the overall student population.
  • Students by Programs and Specializations: Recording the number of students enrolled in each academic program and specialization.
  • Repeating Students and Withdrawals: Monitoring and documenting the number of students who are repeating courses or have withdrawn from their studies.
  • International Students: Tracking the number of foreign students enrolled at the university.
  • Students Subject to National Service: Identifying and maintaining records for students who are required to serve in the national service.

Tasks:

  • Manage Student Enrollment: Oversee all student registration processes, including academic leaves and the management of student withdrawals.
  • Review Reports and Minutes: Examine the reports and minutes submitted by department heads and program coordinators for each specialization.
  • Verify Program Compliance: Ensure that academic programs (units, modules, coefficients, and credits) align with the approved training offerings for all levels and specializations.
  • Review Deliberation Minutes: Examine and verify the minutes of deliberations concerning student results at the pedagogical services of each department.
  • Prepare Exams: Ensure proper preparation for exams in all formats (written, oral, practical, etc.).
  • Monitor Exam Progress: Oversee the smooth conduct of exams, ensuring proper procedures are followed.
