Scientific clubs

The Scientific, Cultural, and Sports Activities Service oversees three scientific clubs:

  • Biological Genius Scientific Club
  • Creativity Spirit Scientific Club
  • Green World Scientific Club (Department of Agronomy).

Scientific Council

The Scientific Council plays a central role in defining the scientific orientations of the Faculty of Nature and Life Sciences (SNV). It meets at least once a year to provide the Dean with advice on received applications, potential collaborations, and the scientific policy to be implemented. Members of the Council are also encouraged to promote the faculty and recommend researchers who could be invited to contribute.

General secretariat of the faculty

The General Secretary is responsible for:

  • Preparing the faculty's human resources management plan and ensuring its implementation.
  • Managing the careers of faculty staff.
  • Preparing the faculty's budget proposal and overseeing its execution.
  • Promoting scientific, cultural, and sports activities for students in collaboration with the relevant university structures.
  • Managing the faculty's movable and immovable assets, ensuring their maintenance and upkeep.
  • Implementing the faculty's internal security plan.

  • Monitoring teaching activities and proposing measures to the Dean to improve their quality.
  • Maintaining a nominal and statistical database of students.
  • Collecting, processing, and disseminating educational information for the benefit of students.

  • Monitor Exam Grades Entry: Ensure the accurate input of exam grades and oversee announcements regarding the administrative records of students.

  • Repeating Students and Withdrawals: Monitoring and documenting the number of students who are repeating courses or have withdrawn from their studies.
  • International Students: Tracking the number of foreign students enrolled at the university.
  • Students Subject to National Service: Identifying and maintaining records for students who are required to serve in the national service.

  • Verify Program Compliance: Ensure that academic programs (units, modules, coefficients, and credits) align with the approved training offerings for all levels and specializations.
  • Review Deliberation Minutes: Examine and verify the minutes of deliberations concerning student results at the pedagogical services of each department.
  • Prepare Exams: Ensure proper preparation for exams in all formats (written, oral, practical, etc.).
  • Monitor Exam Progress: Oversee the smooth conduct of exams, ensuring proper procedures are followed.
