Dear colleagues, partners, students and lecturers,
We are delighted to invite you to attend the international conference entitled "Green Extraction of High Value-Added Components for the Development of Functional Foods". This scientific event will take place on 7 and 8 June 2026.
This conference is jointly organised by the University of Setif 1 – Farhat Abbas (Setif, Algeria) and the University of Sargodha (Pakistan).
Conference themes
The conference will explore the latest advances in the following areas:

  1. Concept and design of green extraction.
  2. High value-added functional and bioactive components.
  3. Applications of green extraction.
  4. Plant milking technology.
  5. Functional foods and nutraceuticals.

Keynote speakers
We are honoured to welcome two internationally renowned experts from the University of Sargodha:

  • Professor Farouk Anwar, plant chemist and analytical chemist.
  • Professor Mian Anjum Murtaza, specialist in food science and technology.
